2016 Moto Expo Melbourne: Harley-Davidson Hosts UFC Star Miesha Tate
Visitors to the 2016 Moto Expo in Melbourne today have the chance to meet recently retired UFC champion Miesha Tate.
To celebrate Harley-Davidson’s renewed sponsorship of the UFC Octagon, Miesha will be at the Harley-Davidson stand to sign autographs and pose for photos with fans at 3pm.
Miesha announced her retirement at UFC 205 in New York on November 12, and is currently in Australia on a promotional tour tied to the UFC Fight Night at Rod Laver Arena on Sunday.
Harley-Davidson is giving away 5 double passes to the event to visitors at Moto Expo.
Also on display on the Harley-Davidson stand are the 2017 Milwaukee-Eight models, the Project LiveWire electric bike and the top selling LAMS bike in the country – the Street 500.
The all-new Milwaukee-Eight engine fitted to the 2017 range offers quicker throttle response, more passing power, purer sound, a smoother ride and more of the feeling riders want from a Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycle engine.
The Harley-Davidson Livewire is on only its second public viewing and visitors have the chance to get close and personal with one of Australia’s most technological ground-breaking motorcycles.
The Street 500 on display is the 2017 model that now includes ABS as standard equipment and a security system.
Harley-Davidson Australia has revised the Street 500 pricing as well to keep the bike affordable for younger customers, and it now sells for a ride-away price of AUD $9,995 ($10,995 if you’re in New Zealand).
