or getta Husqvarna nuda 900, now that floats my boat and you don´t have to
spendout to make it into something that works..

  5. Chris Moon says:

And as for the oil leak issues. What the fuck are u whining about, that´s
very authentic triumph, you can leave a very attractive oil stain, (to
impress the birds) whilst standing outside the cafe and then racing down to
the roundabout before the the song´s finished playing on the juke box.
Some people actually believe this shit.
to me it looks like triumph´s slipping, (just like in the good ol days)
check out the kawasaki w 800 then you´ll see what i mean.
Triumph bonneville now isn´t the sensation it was in the good ol days, not
that in england was there anything particuarly good about it anyway.
Keep calm and carry on an all that..

  6. Chris Moon says:

Yeah but if you want a decent bike then go buy the new yamaha mt 09. i had
a brand new Bonnie in 2007 i wasn´t impressed. and i´m not impressed with
all this twatish Caff racer innuendo. you can make a “caff racer” out of
    any bike..

Hey, Jon! Very nice review! Just out of curiosity, how tall are you? I am
thinking about moving from my Suzuki DL VStrom 650 to a Bonneville T100 but
I am worried it might not fit me well. Thanks!

Do a web search on all the electrical and oil leak problems these newer
Bonnevilles have. I have an 09′ and I have talked to many people with same
    issues.

  14. Ybert Depauw says:

“If you look at this bike as a blank canvas, your blank canvas, then its an
    awesome place to start.”
Thanks for the great review and the truely inspiring words.

  19. Colin Campbell says:

Cheers John. A nice review and fair to the bike, but please check facts on
where they are built… SOME bikes are built in Thailand for the far east
market. But you can check via the frame numbers. Not sure why people are
that worried about this anyway as Triumph quality is spot on anyway,
wherever they are built. I have a Thruxton here in Qatar and if I had the
bike in the UK would change shocks and fork springs. Otherwise – as you say
there are plenty of great aftermarket parts to improve the range of
machines. I love the Californian based British Customs parts… Predator
    pipes etc!

    So, this is rather good….

    Beautifully shot!

This week, we ventured out of the city and headed north to review the
#Triumph Bonneville T100, part of Triumph’s Modern Classics range. It’s
such an emotive, infectious and easy-to-ride bike, the modern Bonnie. It
isn’t about going fast; it’s about using that smooth, effortless
performance to flow down a road and soak up the scenery. And scenery
doesn’t get more epic or romantic than the rolling landscape of Cumbria,
notably Keswick and its surrounding towns for this video. Finding the
Filling Station Cafe – a biker-friendly cafe in Keswick with a great family
atmosphere – was the icing on the cake. It was the first time any of us had
visited the Filling Station, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be the last.
    Enjoy the film.

District to see if the retro classic can combine old-school charm and
modern day relevance. Filmed expertly by +Antony Quintin, I’m sure it’ll
